About

My name is Emmaline Pell, and I provide chiropractic and conditioning treatments for horses and dogs, blending McTimoney techniques with massage, conditioning, and therapeutic laser therapy. My journey began with my own horse Sprite’s incredible response to treatment, inspiring me to study at Hartpury (ND in Horse Management, BSc Equine Science) and later complete an MSc in Large Animal Manipulation at McTimoney College of Chiropractic. Since 2012, I’ve treated animals of all shapes and abilities—from elderly dogs wanting to stay comfortable to agility champions and event horses—always tailoring care to support recovery, enhance performance, and promote long-term wellbeing. Horses and dogs are at the heart of my life too: I enjoy hacking with my Cob Bruce and cheeky adoptee Albie, while my Patterdale, the “Twatterdale Terror,” keeps me busy with Hoopers, Parkour, and UK sports dog activities.

I have been coming to Emmaline for quite some years now for McTimmoney, and I am very grateful her details were passed onto me, she started off maintaining my older dog during agility, then once retired he is now on a maintenance treatment to keep him comfortable and happy. Emmaline now helps my younger dog who is now on her agility journey, keeping her sound and fit. I have recently just completed the 7-week conditioning course and this has been amazing. The difference in my younger dog since starting is great, her movement and posture have definitely improved. We both enjoyed it so much that we decided to sign up for the next 7-week course. Emmaline is calm and understanding and picks on the smallest of things you don't notice, she creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere for the dogs and humans. Both my dogs love coming for treatment and classes.

Milly and I have thoroughly enjoyed the 7 week course. The physical benefits to Milly are wonderful and I can see some really positive improvements in her movement. However, just as important are the other things that we gained from your course. As a cautious/nervous girl, Milly finds going to new places and meeting new people quite a challenge but with your sympathetic and patient approach, she was soon able to relax and enjoy all the exercises. We have not only enjoyed the sessions but also practicing at home with sister Rosa. It’s given me so many new things to try with them.

We loved the conditioning course and the treatment made such a difference (best agility ever last week!!!)

Emmaline has been treating my dog Loki for years. She kept her in top condition when Loki was competing in agility competitions and now that Loki has retired, she gives her a regular "MOT" to deal with the issues that come with getting older. The vet gives us painkillers and says to rest, Emmaline will locate the issue and fix it. Loki is always better after a treatment. Emmaline is very knowledgeable and will recommend exercises to help with ongoing issues.
